Sometimes you don’t need a thrift store to find cool things! You just need to help your mother in law pack up her house and move 😉. All jokes aside I absolutely love this painting of Venice and it works perfectly above our buffet. The best part was to put this up I needed to move around a bunch of other pictures... then I realized... I should change things up more often. It seems like it’s been a long and crazy week and it’s only Monday. This weekend was filled with projects around the house and massive amounts of yard work. If it wasn’t for this guy I would have lost motivation about 20 minutes in. We made a mistake by allowing our property to get overgrown and now we are paying the price. Hopefully by the end of this week we will have a better handle on it all so Spring maintenance isn’t too bad. I hope some things change when this is all over. I hope the kindness and creativity to share what we have with others never goes away. It’s more then money, sometimes it’s just duck eggs in exchange for a book, but it’s those things that are special. I have a friend who’s son was looking for the last Diary of a Wimpy kid book. Since the library was closed she asked if he could borrow ours, then without even asking brought over a half dozen of duck eggs. Quarantine meals at their finest. This feed has basically turned into food I enjoy and I’m okay with that. Today I put the collard greens I got in my @misfitsmarket box to work and they were delish! I love having fresh organic veggies that I wouldn’t typically buy. I mean really, I’m not sure I’ve ever willingly bought collard greens!
